The students I taught were from all over the world, but mainly from South East Asia. During this time I was awarded West Australian Level 3 Teacher status (equivalent to Master Teacher status)

Applecross Senior High School had a population of 1200 students of which more than 50% spoke English as a second language. I was Teacher-in-Charge of the ESOL Department.
Responsible for:

- Liaising with other departments regarding ESOL students

Previous Experience
From February 1976 until February 1991 I taught a variety of subjects including English, Geography, Social Studies, ESOL and Music. This was in primary, middle and secondary school in New Zealand, England, Canada and Australia.
